Popular craft breweries in Massachusetts: 6 places to know
Six Massachusetts breweries across Boston, the South Shore, Framingham, and major destinations in Central Massachusetts.
Massachusetts has a deep brewery scene that stretches well beyond central Boston. These six breweries cover Boston-area taprooms, Central Massachusetts destinations, session beer, lager, hop-forward releases, and large multi-location experiences.
The short answer is Tree House Brewing Company, Trillium Brewing, Night Shift Brewing, Notch Brewing, Widowmaker Brewing, and Jack's Abby Craft Lagers. They are not the only breweries worth visiting in Massachusetts. They are a curated starting point with active first-party locations and enough stylistic range to plan a useful trip.
